Button Up Your T Shirt

    After a productive day at work or during the "off" days, the favorite comfort shirt is the t-shirt.  It's the perfect casual wear that can go from being at home to doing errands.  But, depending on the t-shirt, sometimes, you can experience a little dowdiness.  So, a few years ago, I tried something new.  I modified my t-shirt by adding buttons.

T-Shirts with Buttons

    One of my child's teacher had cut a slit in the middle of a t-shirt that she was wearing.  I thought that it was a great idea! And, so, I decided to try cutting my shirts and I, also, went a step further by adding buttons at the top of the shirts.

Now, I can't stop my creative side!  See my new project in the picture at the left.  I'm thinking about cutting around the top of the t-shirt and then, hand sew some lace at the top.  What do you think?
